Draft Written for the iPhone field test. A lawyer will review this page before the public beta.
Terms of Use
Last updated October 18, 2026
The short version
- Official Visit is in a field test. It can change, break, lose data or end.
- You must be 18 or older to use the test.
- Rate only a program you played for, and rate your own experience honestly.
- Ratings are each user's own opinion. We host them. We don't write them or endorse them.
- Ratings are never for sale.
- Anyone can ask us to review content at legal@officialvisit.app.
These terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Crews Enterprises LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company ("we" or "us"). They cover the Official Visit iPhone app during its field test, and this website.
By using either one, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
The field test
- The app is a pre-release test, delivered through Apple's TestFlight.
- Features may change, stop working or go away.
- We may reset test data at any time. A reset erases ratings, accounts and everything else from the test. There are no automatic backups.
- We may end the test, or your part in it, at any time.
Who can use the test
- You must be 18 or older.
- The app is meant for people in the United States.
- One person, one account.
- If you coach or work for a college football program, you may read but not rate.
- You can't use the test if we have removed you from it before.
Your account
- Keep your phone and your sign-in safe. Your rating token lives on your phone, so anyone with your unlocked phone can use it.
- Tell us at support@officialvisit.app if you think someone else has used your account.
Rating rules
- Rate only a program you played for, and claim only the seasons you were there. During the test we don't check this, and ratings show as self-reported. A false claim breaks these terms.
- Rate your own experience. Don't rate for someone else or let someone rate for you.
- One rating per program. Don't make extra accounts to rate again.
- Don't rate a program you work for or are paid by.
- Don't offer, ask for or accept anything of value in exchange for a rating.
- Don't try to find out who wrote a rating.
- Don't try to get around the app's privacy or security protections, copy its data in bulk, or overload our systems. If you find a security problem, tell us at support@officialvisit.app.
Ratings are opinions
- A rating shows what one user says about their own experience. It is that user's opinion, not ours.
- We host ratings. We don't check them for accuracy, and we don't endorse them. Showing a rating is not a statement of fact by us.
- Program totals and scores are calculated from users' ratings by one fixed method, applied the same way to every program.
- The app asks about experiences, such as whether promises were kept, not about anyone's character.
Ratings are never for sale
No one can pay to add, change, hide, reorder or remove a rating or a score. That includes coaches, schools, sponsors and advertisers.
Reviews and takedowns
Anyone can ask us to review content, including a coach, a staff member or a school.
How to ask
Email legal@officialvisit.app. Tell us the program and the page, which content you mean, why you think it breaks these terms or the law, and how to reach you.
What happens next
- We aim to review every request within 24 hours, and we reply with what we decided.
- A request alone never hides content. A person reviews it first.
- We remove content that breaks these terms or the law, including ratings made against the rating rules, such as a group of fake ratings.
- We don't remove a rating just because the program or person it is about disagrees with it or finds it unflattering.
- We can't tell you who wrote a rating. We don't know.
Serious allegations
Reports of abuse, assault, crimes, NCAA rules violations, threats or self-harm are never published as ratings. If someone is in danger, call 911.
Copyright
If you believe something on Official Visit infringes your copyright, email legal@officialvisit.app with the work, where it appears, and how to reach you.
Our content and your license
- We own the app, this website, the Official Visit name and the design.
- We give you a personal license to use the app during the test. You can't transfer it, and it ends when the test ends or when you stop. You may not sell, copy or change the app.
- School names are used only to identify programs. We don't use school logos or NCAA marks.
- Official Visit is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the NCAA, any conference or any school.
What you give us
- You keep any rights you have in your ratings.
- You give us a worldwide, royalty-free, permanent license to store, show, combine and use your ratings in totals and scores, and to keep them as anonymous content after your account is gone. We need this because we can't tell which ratings are yours.
- If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without paying you.
Apple
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content.
- Apple's terms for TestFlight and the App Store also apply to your use of the app.
No promises
The test is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises, express or implied, that the app or this website will work, be accurate, be available or keep your data. That includes any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
Limits on our liability
- To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from the test.
- To the same extent, our total liability for any claim about the test is $100.
- Some states don't allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.
Ending
You can stop using Official Visit at any time and delete your account in the app. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or to protect other users or the service.
Law and disputes
- Tennessee law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
- Before filing a claim, email legal@officialvisit.app and give us 30 days to try to resolve it.
- Any claim goes to the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app first. Using the app after a change means you accept it.
